Curriculum

Curriculum

Schools in the Arbor Academy Trust follow the National Curriculum. This curriculum is organised into knowledge based curriculum that has Reading, Writing, Maths, Science and IT at its core. We teach concepts and components and focus on the main subjects history, Geography, Philosophy, Engineering, Construction and Agriculture. Our inclusive curriculum supports the high expectations we have for all our children and enables our children to strive for academic excellence while developing a real love and enthusiasm for learning. It is made up of a wide range of rich, exciting creative and sporting activities, providing our children with choice while developing their all-round abilities and personal confidence. It supports them in developing their independence and deepens learning, thus enabling our children to be leaders of tomorrow.

We celebrate the social and cultural diversity of the school community while reinforcing the importance of British values.
